After some long thought and hard deciding, I’ve decided to take a hiatus for a few weeks, due to an insane amount of work. I really hate doing this, but it’s one of those times when I must prioritize. Hopefully, this will only be for a few weeks as I get the TV Show I Work On out of the way. For those who don’t know, I also got a gig doing some graphic novel work for a company out in Vancouver! I don’t think I can say much about it yet though, so I’ll leave it at that for now
Take note, that I am still accepting guest comics so if anyone has something to send, please e-mail them to me and I will happily put them up!
I will announce any changes/updates via the Facebook page. See you in a few!

So Saturday was the Ottawa Small Press Book Fair, and it was kinda cool for me because it was the first time I had done any sort of thing like this without sharing a table with a more famous friend. So, I’m kinda proud of myself for doing it!
My handsome assistant and I manned half a table for only five hours, but it sure was an exhausting five hours! I met lots of really nice people, never talked so much in my life, and was surprised and happy to meet a few other webcomics people there. I even met someone who had heard of me and read On The Edge, and I was all like, “whaaaaaat!?”. So a good time was had by all. I even sold a few books
Hmm, I wonder where I’ll be going next? Hopefully TCAF next year!
In other news, if you’ve looked at the store page, it’s had a bit of a facelift!
Don’t forget, I’m now accepting guest comics! Don’t be afraid to send something in and I’ll be happy to link to your comic/website/blog or whatever!

Just a note that I’ll be at the Ottawa Small Press Book Fair this Saturday! It’s totally free, so if you’re in the Capital this weekend, come have a look! I’ll be hawking my wares with my tall, handsome assistant John.

So get this: My boyfriend and I have two weddings to attend within one week, both which we have to travel for. He is a groomsman in one, and I am a bridesmaid in the other. Our mothers will both be around for each trip so I anticipate a solid week of being asked ‘when we’ll be getting married and having children’. This is sort of our first time as a couple being involved in a round of weddings, and so far all we’ve learned is that it’s a whole lot of trouble and money being spent just for one day. And it’s not just the couple getting married that spend the money – everyone around them has to; gifts, finding something to wear, travel costs, taking time off from work – I’m all for a good party, but this is too much! Everyone has to sacrifice their routines and lives for the sake of someone else’s love? I mean, love is great and all, but sheesh! I wouldn’t expect everyone to do that for me. I don’t want them to. Do I have to have the little girl inside me that dreams of the big, fancy, frilly wedding? NO! NO I say – I think I’d rather elope…
If you ever wonder where I come up with stories, it’s easy – our lives are just that crazy!
P.S. If either of our mothers end up reading this someday, well, you gals are the best – love ya!
