*Squirm squirm* So Project Wonderful started this “geo-targeting” thing, and it makes me antsy ’cause now I can’t see my ads anymore! Most advertisers are based in the US, and I’m based in Canada, ‘doh! I knew my nationality would screw me someday :P
………………….
Everyone and their dog’s webcomic is on Facebook, and it seems like the obvious thing to do would be to make a Facebook page for OTE, but I’m still kind of in the ‘I’ll think about it mode’ right now. I was never one to do stuff because other people are (I’m weird that way), but I’ve heard it’s a good audience building tool, and maybe I should give it more attention. If it happens, you’ll be the first to know! :D

Oh no, you can still see your ads! If you click on the “your ad here” link, you can see what ads are being displayed to each region, whether or not you’re Canadian! They’re also available when you log in on your dashboard, under “Bids on my ad boxes”.

    I hope this helps!

Ah yes, that’s good. Not seeing the ads right on the website will take some getting used to though.

Speaking of our shared wretched freezing-our-ears-off location, will you be going to anime north? I’d love to get my book signed.

I haven’t done a convention in a long time, and no one to go with. I don’t think I could man a table alone *cries*. At any rate, Anime North would be impossible this year, as I already have plans for the May 30 weekend. I will be wandering around (not selling) at TCAF though. If you see a black girl with glasses wandering around looking overwhelmed, possibly talking to a Russian girl, tap me on the shoulder. :D

You should make a Facebook Fan Page. It’s really easy. You can even link it to your Twitter feed with a Facebook app called Selective Twitter Status. I put a fan page together a couple weeks ago and between that and posting on my personal page, Facebook accounts for about 30% of my traffic referrals.

Wow, pretty cool. I’m not a big Twitter fan, but I am on Facebook, like, all the time!

Yeah, my site has a big row of empty bid space too. >_<
Although, the new system has been pretty good in terms of traffic and income so far. Having multiple people bidding on some spaces works out pretty good.

I have a Facebook group, but I'm never really sure what to do with it. I'll post some concept art to it for people to see, but I don't really feel like it promotes so much as just acts as a bonus for readers I already have.

You have lots of members though, that’s great! I’m just afraid people won’t join, haha!

I love that you’re in The Coast by the way, congrats! ^_^b

I think a third or so of the members are spam-bots. I CAN’T have that many fans from India…
