And on that note…

I figured since Negs’ arc has come to an end, it would be a good spot to put On The Edge aside once again for a bit as other things overwhelm me right now.
One of the things I’m trying to get done at the moment is a short comic for Bento’s Halloween Anthology. You can check out the discussion of some of the projects here on the forum! I originally had another story in mind, but didn’t have time for it, so hopefully I will finish this other one in time. O___o This graphic novel thing, as well as doing designs for a film is keeping me swamped! Thanks for your patience!

In other news, a TV show that I storyboard on is finally premiering this September 13th, on TVO (TV Ontario), I don’t know when/if it’s on in the US, but there’s a clip up on YouTube. Check it out!

Q and A

Got a Fan question today (literally).

Q: Was On The Edge your first comic strip, or have you done others sorta like this?

A: Technically, On The Edge isn’t even my first “webcomic” (although I had no idea what a webcomic was then). Back in high school I drew a Sherlock Holmes themed comic called “Memoirs of a Sherlockian Freak”. I didn’t have a computer at home, so I used the ones in school to make a website and put them up. Back then, I also did a comic called “Flying High” about an airline run by silly people (I love to travel!). That was just one I’d show around to my friends though. I also did one-paneled comics for the school environmental newspaper. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I don’t have any of these comics any more… unless my mom is stashing them somewhere… so I can’t show any examples. :P

Thanks for the question!

Excuse My Addiction…

I haven’t felt anything like this for a show since Lost (If you’ve never heard of it, it’s called Mad Men). I’m sure there must be a Wonderland equivalent… Mad Cats?

I’ve been outed…

…as a geek among geeks! That’s right, move over gamers! The Sherlockians shall inherit the earth!
When I posted about my trip to TCAF, and most importantly, the Arthur Conan Doyle room at the Toronto Reference Library, who knew I’d get an e-mail from the curator, Peggy Perdue, wanting to publish what I had written in the official Journal of the Bootmakers of Toronto! I just got my issue in the mail the other day, and she even sent me a note on the cutest Sherlockian-Manga note paper I’ve ever seen. I want some Sherlockian Manga note paper!!!!!!
Click on the photo for a nice close up view, with notes! :D
